Scoop.it - Films, theatre and music

Scoop.it   is a great tool to gather news or material about one topic. It's visually very attractive and you can upload videos and pictures. The website suggests you sources to add to your post, and you can browse other people's material to learn or use in your class. If you want to see an example, I used it to help my students with vocabulary about films, theatre and music.

Present simple drill

Drills are very useful for low level students, and here you have an example to practise Present Simple that I uploaded to ESLPrintables. This is a community of English teachers that have to share their own materials in order to download other people's materials.

La Mansión del Inglés

La Mansión del Inglés is a complete website for Spanish speakers who want to improve their English. There are the typical sections of grammar, vocabulary, reading, etc.   But my favourite section is that of  LISTENING, which ranges from really basic listenings to more advanced ones, and they perform real situations!

This is an example of basic listening (buying a train ticket):

Let's begin with this short but interesting video about his life:

Another possibility is to listen to the podcast "Dickens audio tour: David Copperfield", and follow a walking route around key sites from the London of David Copperfield. Starting at Victoria Embankment and ending near Covent Garden.
At Guadalpeña High School, the students have created comics about Dickens's novels using Bitstrips, and this is the result:
