Fairy tales with Wordle
I have followed Emilio Quintana's idea to use WORDLE, an on-line application that does not require registration to create clouds of words.
In this example, you can see the most common words of a very famous fairy tale. Do you know which one?

20 seconds - describing people
This is an activity I use with students to improve speaking. This time, the topic is describing people as much as possible, trying to imagine things about their private life. Mistakes are accepted, because the aim is to make the students speak uninterruptedly for 20 seconds!

Brainbox games to improve speaking and memory skills
Brainbox games can be very useful to activate your memory, practise vocabulary and understanding questions. There are many different games, so you can deal with many topics. The aim of the game is to watch a card fon ten seconds and try to memorise all the details and information in order to answer the questions about it. And you learn a lot! For example, with NATURE, you learn about plants and animals:

Scoop.it - Films, theatre and music
Scoop.it is a great tool to gather news or material about one topic. It's visually very attractive and you can upload videos and pictures. The website suggests you sources to add to your post, and you can browse other people's material to learn or use in your class. If you want to see an example, I used it to help my students with vocabulary about films, theatre and music.
